Lead-UP Academy Enhances Its Train The Trainer Program: Integrating AI, Refining Learning Materials, and Strengthening Practical Application

1. Research and Development to Strengthen Internal Trainer Competencies in an Evolving Context

With the direct involvement of Phạm Tô Hoài – Expert and Founder of Lead-UP Academy and his colleagues in the Lead-UP R&D Team, the “Excellence in Internal Training – Train The Trainer” program has undergone research-informed enhancement for delivery over three days. The program integrates three components: AI applications in instructional design; facilitation, inspirational delivery, and on-the-job training skills; and teaching practice, assessment, and lesson refinement.

Folder 01: Lead-UP Academy’s enhanced Train The Trainer program combines core training competencies with the ability to apply AI.

2. Refining Training Slides and Instructional Guidance Materials

Drawing on years of training delivery experience, the R&D team has distilled and systematically organized practical knowledge into slide decks, lesson plans, session delivery guides, and participant materials. The content follows a coherent sequence, from learning objectives to practical activities and assessment, enabling trainers to facilitate sessions effectively while helping participants follow the learning process and apply their knowledge.

Folder 02: The training slides are systematically structured to connect knowledge, practical guidance, and assessment criteria.

3. Integrating AI Throughout the Instructional Design Process

The AI application exercises for Learning and Development (L&D) are structured around authentic tasks: training needs analysis (TNA), the development of training proposals and program frameworks, the preparation of learning materials, and the design of case studies, lesson plans, and assessment tools. Participants practice developing tangible training outputs while strengthening their ability to verify and refine AI-assisted content.

Folder 03: AI application exercises and supporting templates guide participants through the development of training outputs that can be further refined for practical use.

4. Standardizing Practice in Facilitation and On-the-Job Training

Presentation, inspirational delivery, interaction, classroom situation management, and classroom management skills are translated into clearly defined practical tasks. The paired-practice guides focus on three skill areas: opening, facilitating, and concluding a session; professional presentation and interaction; and on-the-job training (OJT). Each activity specifies performance requirements and areas for observation and feedback.

Folder 04: The practical guides enable participants to practice, observe, and provide feedback against specific criteria.

5. Organizing Learning Materials and Tools on Online Platforms

One enhancement to the program is a learning resource system that supports activities before, during, and after training. Materials, exercises, submission spaces, and teaching practice guidelines are organized into designated categories. Tools integrating AI with the Google and Microsoft Office ecosystems support interaction, information collection, and consolidation, facilitating participant monitoring and post-training support.

Folder 05: Online learning resources are organized by activity, enabling trainers and participants to access materials, complete practical tasks, and submit their work conveniently.

6. Connecting Teaching Practice with Assessment and Improvement

The teaching practice component provides participants with opportunities to apply their learning in an integrated manner. Assessment forms and score consolidation tools support the documentation of trainer comments, peer feedback, and results against each criterion. This provides participants with a basis for recognizing their strengths, identifying areas for improvement, and further refining their lessons.

Folder 06: Scoring and results consolidation tools support teaching practice assessment, feedback, and recognition of outstanding participant pairs.

Through its R&D activities, Lead-UP Academy continues to refine the program in accordance with its guiding principle: “Learn to Act – Act to Lead.” Organizations and businesses seeking to develop their internal trainers are invited to connect with Lead-UP to jointly design programs aligned with their operational context and training objectives.
